2024 TERMS OF USE & POLICIES
This is a simplified version of the legal document that you agree to when purchasing files through the website.
• All files will start out at a base price as listed. Licensing will not be included with any file UNLESS you are a small handmade shop making items with the files.
• Each file will have variant options and you must purchase the correct variant option for it to be a valid purchase.
Variant options will include:
- Small Handmade Shops (Makers/Creators)
- Fabric/Transfer Shops (Suppliers)
- Handmade Wholesale
- POD/Overseas/Manufacturing (Distributors)
✨COMMERCIAL LICENSING✨
• File purchases no longer come with any commercial licensing for fabric/transfer/handmade wholesale/POD/overseas manufacturing
• Because files are limited, I suggest you grab the file FIRST and come back later for a license during drops (assuming you don’t have an annual "everything" license).
There are two types of annual commercial licenses with different pricing points for every kind of shop that needs a license:
- Individual licenses for one file purchased in 2024
- "Everything" licenses for all files purchased in 2024
• Each license has different yardage/transfer options for you, so please select the one that best fits you + your shop!
• You will not be sent or emailed files unless you grab an individual license OR unless you have an annual "everything" license.
• Annual "everything" license holders will be placed on a list so I can try to fulfill orders promptly.
• If you don’t receive your files within one-two business days, please email or submit a comment to the order help thread in the fb VIP group! Include your order numbers for both your commercial license AND your unfulfilled order please.
💜 SMALL HANDMADE SHOPS 💜
• For small shops hand making, hand subbing, hand pressing items, clothing, or shirts, no commercial license is needed. Lifetime licensing for making and selling items + personal use is included in your purchase.
💜 FABRIC/TRANSFER SHOPS • These options will have very limited stock. There will be one or two files unavailable for fabric or transfer shops to purchase for each drop.
• All individual file purchases will not include licensing. You must purchase an individual license for one file OR have purchased an "everything" annual license in order to print or sell fabric/transfers.
• Coord bundles only require one license OR an "everything" annual license. For coord bundles, The total number of yards/transfers you purchase for a license is how many yards/transfers you can sell for the entire coord bundle. (If you buy 25 yards, you can sell 25 yards TOTAL for coords. Not 25 yards of each coord).
• Bundle purchases will not have licensing included. You must buy a bundle license OR have purchased an annual license in order to print or sell fabric/transfers.
• Once your allocated amount of yards or transfers are up, you must stop selling OR return to the website to purchase another commercial license.
• Annual Commercial Licensing is only valid for the year it was purchased. If you purchase the"everything" annual licensing, you do not need to purchase any individual licenses for the year unless you go over your max limit.
• Transfers are defined as the transfers needed for a maker to make ONE completed product.
💜 HANDMADE WHOLESALE / MANUFACTURING / POD 💜
• These options will have very limited stock. There will only be one or two files available (plus their matching sub/seamless/tumbler file) for handmade wholesale/manufacturing/POD shops to purchase for each drop.
• All individual file purchases will not include licensing. You must purchase an individual license for one file OR have purchased an annual license in order to print or sell fabric/transfers.
• Bundles will not be specifically available to wholesale/manufacturing/POD. If you are a small shop that sells handmade retail items AS WELL AS wholesale/manufacturing/POD, then you may purchase a small shop bundle as long as you purchase commercial licensing for any files you plan to use for handmade wholesale/POD/manufacturing.
• Annual Commercial Licensing is only valid for the year it was purchased. If you purchase the "everything" annual licensing, you do not need to purchase any individual licenses for the year.
• All licensing for these options grants you unlimited sales for the year PROVIDED you are legally defined as a small business & your profits from my files alone do not exceed $250k.
THINGS YOU CAN’T DO WITH MY FILES
🚫 Sell digital products using my files
🚫 Share or sell the files or any digital item containing them
🚫 Alter the files or color over them (removing or adding text is okay though)
🚫 Post files or mock-ups without a watermark clearly covering the artwork
🚫 Make and sell stickers
🚫 Make and sell patches
🚫 Make and sell wood, acrylic, or enamel pins
🚫 Make and sell art prints
🚫 Use print on demand websites (unless allowed for the specific file you purchased OR unless you have a valid contract with me). This includes and is not limited to: printify, printful, redbubble, etc. If you appear to be using a print-on-demand website when not granted licensing, you may be asked to provide proof. If you cannot provide proof, you will be asked to cease sales.
🚫 Wholesale (unless allowed for the specific file you purchased OR unless you have a valid contract with me)
🚫 Have items and clothing manufactured for you (unless allowed for the specific file you purchased OR unless you have a valid contract with me)
WHAT IS ALLOWED FOR SMALL SHOPS
🔥 Having a fabric shop print custom fabric for you
🔥 Having a transfer shop print custom transfers for you
🔥 Having screen/DTG/DTF prints made for you
🔥 Adding or removing text for sub files
🌿 Refunds/Exchanges/Returns 🌿
Due to the nature of these digital products, I do not accept refunds or exchanges. I am human and am capable of mistakes! If you find any issues with your file, send me an email so I can help you.
☠️ File Availability/Exclusivity ☠️
Every file I sell is only available in limited quantities and has potential to sell out. Bundles, files for fabric/transfer shops, and files for wholesaling/manufacturing will be especially limited. When these files sell out, they will not restock for the entirety of the year they have been released. So for example, if a file sells out in 2022, it will not restock until *potentially* 2023 based on popular demand. Files are never guaranteed to restock on later dates.
LIST OF BLACKLISTED BUSINESSES
This is a current and updated list of businesses that Hex Reject has terminated a business relationship with due to repetitive and intentional breach of contract. Individuals and businesses on this list are banned from using or purchasing files. If you see them with my files, screenshot and let me know immediately.
